i saw my 10 yr old masterbating with a childrens toy. she didnt see me though when i saw her. I would rather have her use a vibrator then the toy or any toy. should i get her a vibrator and i have a daughter who is 5 and she loves to spy on her older sister. I also know she masterbates because i have seen her do it when she takes a bath. The problem is that if she sees her older sister using the vibrator she will go in her room and use it when noone is around so if i get my older duaghter one i will also get my younger daughter a small nothing special vibrator that i could tell her to call a massager for her privates do you think that i should do this"

Hi , i think it would be a good idea to sit down with your daughters together, and explain what masturbation is, l think it is quite important to have good communication with your children from an early age, as if you dont, future conversations will be awkward .
The conversation does not have to be to heavy, also explain about respecting privacy. Their is nothing wrong with masturbation, but l can see your concerns about using a proper device. I have fantastic communication with my 3 teenage boys, as l always communicated with them from an early age, I have had to, being a single mother, they tell me everything, their concerns, it is a very satisfying feeling knowing at least l give them advice and we are not embarrassed to discuss anything. your daughters are at a great age, so start now, you will not regret it for the future.

YOU have an EXCELLENT IDEA! AND yes at those ages if you get one girl a toy the other one will want one as well.

I think it is wonderful that you are so open minded and caring! You sound like you have an excellent plan.

I'm sure this is pretty obvious, but you might also want to explain to her that masterbating is something she needs to do in private... make sure she has a lock on her door if it is safe to let her do so. Your younger one doesn't need to be exposed to that yet. And you probably ought to knock before you enter. I wouldn't get your little one a vibrator, just yet... tell your 10 year old to keep it somewhere private where the little one can't get to it. There's no reason she should have access to it. And explain to her the reason you are getting her a vibrator... that you were concerned that she might need one because you understand girls her age are sexually curious, but it's not healthy for her to put dirty things in her vagina and that she needs to keep her vibrator clean. Of course, you want her to feel good about her budding sexuality, not embarrassed;but it isn't something she needs to share with others for years to come.
You can get a small vibrator for her at any adult store. We have a place called Christie's Toy Box around here...

Yes, make they know it is a special TOY for that purpose only, and it is a private time for them only.

I don't know any websites right off hand, but any local sexual shop would have somehting you can use. THAT way you can see it, and know if it is small and discreet enough, you know?

At first this topic shocked me but then I remembered when I was 8 years old, I had started to be extremely sexually curious. For some reason I was fascinating that a slight touch could make you feel so good. I grew up with my mother always saying how bad sex was but if I ever felt I needed to do it then to use a condom on him. So, I stuck to closed highlighters as my toy. I think you as a mother would be appreciated for giving them the proper toy as the curiosity cannot be stopped. {Personal experience here.} I would have highly appreaciated it if my mother would not have been so rude to be about my sexual interests and had helped me rather than made me rebel by having sex.

thank you for all your help i found a website and let her choose her own vibrator i though she was kinding when she wanted this one but she said wanted it this is what she wanted
