13 year old, suspects cancer of testes

Im 13 years old and in my wellness class my teacher told us about checking ourselves for abnormalities on our testicles. i found a small bump, that doesnt hurt if i touch it, but if i press down on it, it hurts. it is about the size of the end of a ballpoint pen. Im afraid it's cancer. Can someone give me advice?

Given your age, it's extremely unlikely that it's cancer. Your testes are still developing, so it could be something in the process of development or caused by development. For example, young girls who are growing breasts get several odd bumps before they exit puberty. If you're really concerned, talk to your dad, if you're okay with that. You could also ask your parents to make an appointment with a doctor.
