How much do you weigh? You need to set goals and you need to stick with them. That is so important. You need to tell your parents to teach you how to cook/make/prepare some healthy meals and snacks that you will like. You should make some strict rules for yourself that you do not break, you need to stick with them. There are a lot of good things to do and you need to make sure that you do them instead of sit around eating cookies watching mtv, not saying you do, just an example. You need to eat healthy, not saying you cant eat any sweets, just limit your sweets, if you are going to be home a lot, find different things to do around the house, help your mom out, do the dishes (you will be burning calories) mow the lawn for your dad (that will burn even more calories plus you wont be sitting inside all day) I know those things dont sound like fun, but you will get props from your parents and you will feel good about yourself at the end of the day. Dont weigh yourself every day, once a week or twice only, and weigh yourself at the same time every day. If you are watching your favorite tv show, do sit ups durring the commercials, if you are sitting on the computer all day, take a 15 min break every 30 min and do something. If you are going to have at least one big meal a day, make it breakfast, then you have all day to lose those calories, i would limit your calorie intake, in my personal experience that is the best thing to do. make sure you watch what you are eating, pastas and breads are not that good for you... if you make something with a sauce, go light on the sauce, such as a salad, dont cover your lettus in ranch, add things to it to make the lettus taste better. maybe get some small weights and do a lot of arm reps, take your dog for a walk, you might do just little things around the house and you dont realize it, but you are burning calories, just by standing youare burning calories. do not starve yourself... becuase then you will not be able to stand it anymore and you will eat a horse!... I understand you do not have a pool but if you ever get access to one, that is a great way to burn calories. try doing things that you dont normally do, that is always a good way to burn calories becuase you are doing something new. If you like to dance turn on mtv and try and dance or get a dancing dvd, dancing is a really really good way to burn calories. Make yourself sweat also. when i excersize i usually wear a sweater just so i get a little bit hot faster. You need to just make sure that by the end of the day you are proud of yourself for accomplishing something because the next morning when you wake up you will feel great about yourself and it will get easier to do those things. I hope that helps, let me know if you want some more ideas or if you have any questions Smile
