Hi, I'm posting in regards of my friend. She gets severe stomach pain after eating and her stomach can swell dramatically until it looks like she is pregnant. She's tried cutting foods out of her diet but that hasn't worked so she's ruled out food allergies, the doctors have given her different medications but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone had any similar stories/got any ideas of what this might be?
She has lost over a stone in one month and can no longer spend more than an hour in school without collapsing. This is her GCSE year and she's missed 1/4 of the year already, she may have to retake it. She's had this problem since May and it's progressivly getting worse, can anyone help? |

im 16 for 2 years now ive had unexplained serve neausea, bad strolls,
lossing weight,pains in my legs ans arms, severe pains in my tummy. The doctors put me on a elemination diet that didnt help ive had lots of test its taking over my life. Im barely at school im always tierd i cant go out alot if anyone knows what might be causing this that would help. |

That sounds to me like IBS (IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME).
