I am 17 years old, male and my breast are growing. It is a serious cause of embarrassment for me and I am not practicing basketball anymore because guys were laughing at me. Is there any way to reduce the size, surgery or exercise? Am I sick of something? Please, tell me what is going on.
It is fairly common, excess breast tissue, in growing teenagers. You are only 17 it usually goes back to normal eventually...in a few years. But if they are larger than you would think you should see your doctor if it is larger than you would think. Plastic surgery is commonly preformed if it is gynomastia.
do you work out? mine used to be like that then after i went above lifting 200 in bench they look like pecs now. just do push ups and bench alot, start excersizing.
i had exactly the same problem (sports, anxiety, etc...)
you have:
Gynecomastia
it is normal brest tissue (like female boobs)
it doesn't go away--so poeple that tell u to diet./workout are misinformed
treatment: surgery

omg im 15 and i ahve the same thing =( ive told my docter he said it had sumptin to do with my thyroid,or sumptin like that....im very embarresed to...i dont talk me shirt off in pubblic anymore....my doctor plans to get them removed in the next couple weeks........u should tell ur doctor too .....i feel ur pain man.....
