Hi, I was in the shower when I noticed a lump on my testicle. I am 18 years old, and I am afraid of getting a cancer. What are the possible diagnosis for testicle lumps?

Hi, I found a lump on my left testicle when I was 31 years old. It hurt every time I touched it, and I was very scared because I thought it had to be a cancer. I went to doctor, he examined me and said that it’s nothing serious. He also said that lumps on the testicles are common, and usually harmless. You should be more concern if your lump doesn’t hurt, because it could be a sign of a cancer. You have to call your health care provider right away, to make an apointment. Proper examination will find a cause of your lumb. Doctor asked me many questions before he examaned me. For example when did I notice my lump, have I had any previous lumps, do I feel the pain, does the lump change in size, and so on.
