Hi! I had a lasik surgery. Most people can return to work the following day. But I didn’t, I wanted to recover. It was very stressful for me. You must continue using antibiotic, steroid, and preservative-free artificial tears, as directed by your doctor. Also is important when showering, do not let the water hit you directly in the face. No soap or shampoo in the eyes. No lotions, creams or eye makeup (shadows, mascara, or eye pencil) for 7 days. Do not rub eyes for 7 days. Doctor will you explain exactly what should you do, listen him very carefully. Good luck.
