Im 20 years old and experience low libido and weak erections. I have a girlfriend and have not had intercourse with her b/c my erection is not hard enough to penetrate let alone put a condom on. I think the problem is due to anxiety and depression b/c i seem to have symptoms of this. I know i need to see a doctor but can they really do anything about it? I could take anti depressants but will this restore my erection and libido?? Please help this is very frustrating especially since I am only 20.

It's normal and 100% psychological, get a hold of your brain, calm down and have confidence on yourself, you will see your problem suddenly disappeared, you might see some failure in next 2-3 attempts. you do not need to see any doctor for this. i am 30 and have the same experience. so cheer up you are normal.

I have been on Lexapro now for one month and I am hornier than ever, My wife is loving it, I think that Lexapro is great. However I do have a severe case of the night time sweats.

Its true, erection anxiety can be gotten over very quickly - best to go easy on yourself. I had this issue for a while and randomly discoverd a meditation technique that rid me of the problem. Completely and utterly. Its called Vippassana - there are a few centres scattered throughout the world, check out http://www.dhamma.org/ for centres.

- This is not a light option and has no guarantee to work initially, so make sure you understand what you're getting yourself into beforehand. In fact, an approach to explore your 'inner' being is far more important than just getting a fix for your worries. A whole lot more.

I'm getting similar sort of symptons... weak erections and low libido. But can't be sure that it's a depression thing.

Like I don't seem to get erections very often at all these days... and the last time I was with a truly gorgeous girl I was seeing and we went to have a bit of fun and it just didn't work. Although that in itself set of a large amount of depression, but at the time I was feeling alright, although the situation was a bit weird and we were in an awkward space... but still. It's a bit of a vicious circle really, i'm aware the more i think about it the worser problem it'll be, however the more i try to not think about it... the more I think about it. Sort of seems like i'll be in this spiral forever.

Can totally agree with how frustrating this is, i'm 20 as well.

Hello. I am 24. I was unable to achieve an erection in any circumstance other than with using tools like cock rings from 17 to 21. During that period, and before that period, too, I was depressed. I would enjoy thinking about suicide and would spend all of my time alone playing video games and avoiding homework. I also bicycled competitively and to and from school and would get numbness in my perineum and penis. I'm fairly certain that I sustained serious damage there. Additionally, I never spent much time with my erection, as I was preoccupied with other stressors and didn't sleep enough.

But I solved the problem! Basically, I sat around for a few months, masturbated, and practiced a very important exercise routine: I did reps, like "kegels" which pushed blood into my penis. I worked it just like working a muscle at the gym, and I am so excited about it that I am preparing to spend the next few years of my life documenting and promoting natural penis improvement.

Guys: Just naturally push blood into the penis until the organs involved in the process are "weakened", and do it again. Just like any successful bodybuilding routine. Look up bodybuilding and do it with your penis. I swear. Your hard work here will change your life.
