25 never been pregnant with greenish yellow discharge from left nipple

I'm 25 years old and has never been pregnant, but for the past almost three years my left nipple has a clear yet greenish discharge. My doctor told me that I've got imblance hormones and an abnormal cycles. Every so offten my nipples would become tender. My question is what could cause only my left nipple to discharge and what should or could I do about it?
