It can take a while for your normal cycle to come back.
There should be NO problems provided that you have not conceived (if you think you have take a test!) - just a bit of a wait. |

| i'm going thru same situation. TTC but not sure if it's just hormones. Rarely have pre menstrual symptons so hoping it's pre pregnancy symptons. have sore nipples last 3 days and abit of a twinge on right side where ovaries are. Any thoughts? |

i'm 17 years old and i just quit taking my birth control about 4 days ago and my nipples are extremely sore...i'm tryin to get pregnant...but other women have my problem with the tender nipples and are not pregnant, could that just be due to the fact that we quit or birth contol and our horomones are coming back to normal now...please help i'm very confused and i need someone to answer my question....it would mean alot... thanks

| MAN I AM ALSO FACING THE SAME THINGS. I GOT OFF BIRTH CONTROL ABOUT ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE MY HONEYMOON AND ITS BEEN LIKE TWO WEEKS SINCE THAT AND MY NIPPLES HURT BAD. BUT IS IS STLL A LITTLE TO EARLY FOR A PREGNANCY TEST SO I DUNNO |

ive been off the pill for 3 weeks too. i recently went back on it yesterday and ever since my nipples have been killing me! not my breasts tho..ive had unprotected sex w my bf but he always pulled out ( which is so guarantee i know ) so i went and got a blood test for pregnancy yesterday. I have to wait until Monday to find out if thats the case, but since iw ent off the pills i felt depressed and i cried at the drop of a dime, i also had bad anxiety.
Im trying to tell myself its the reintroduction of the hormons, or lack of, thats doing it to me.
but im still freaking out. |

| I am the same way been off for a couple weeks and my nipples are so sore, so i asked my sister who is a nurse and she said that your body needs to adjust to the loss of the hormones and estrogen in BC,with But if your late on your period i would go in and get a test done or as your doctor. |

Hi all
I've been off the pill and haven't had a period for roughly 2+ months. I've taken 4 pregnancy tests (one just this morning!) and all have been negative. I've even been to the doctor for this to double check.
I never have unprotected sex, but there's always a risk!
My nipples JUST started hurting this week, but even since then I've been getting cramps and low back pain, as if I'm getting my period.
My doctor said that it may be "birth control related amenhoria" and that it may be due to the change in hormones in my body.
I'd get it checked... but as far as I know I'm not pregnant!
I have a doctor's appointment in the near future... I'll keep you posted! |

I've been off of nuvaring for about 3 weeks also and my nipples have been VERY sore... I've been wondering if I'm pregnant, too... Anyone find out if getting off birth control has anything to do with it or are we all pregnant?   |

| I got of my birth contorl in october and i got my period.. but ever since then I haven't had one.. Im 3 weeks late and i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative.. I have also been having a pain in my lower adonimal more on the left side.. what is causing this to happen?? |

| i went off of nuva ring because after two years on it i got massive awful bad cramps that made it even hard to walk... I've been off nuva for 3 wks now and my nipples are REALLY sneisitve and sore...AND i had this wierd spotty barely there random period... I have NOT have sex at all - so i know that i am not pregnant and merely am getting wierd preg symptoms from the lack of nuva...which is odd..and disturbing...i think the nipple soreness may drive me crazy |
