1st of all I have been off birth control for a year. March 1st, i started this new medicane metformin for my pcos. I also started my period on march 1st. But it only lasted 2 days. I am very regular with my periods, and they usually last 5 days.....always for the past few years, even on BC. After it stopped i was kind of freaked then a day after it stopped i got some brown spotting, almost like a goey light brown discharge. It is now March the 30th, and I should be getting ready to start my period again (if im not preggo) I am not having signs of pregnancy, but i am ususaly not feeling good anyways, so i dont know if i would be able to tell.

Could the short period and spotting be from starting metformin? someone let me know if they have experienced anything like this........ thanks
