This is my second pregnancy. I have just had an internal exam due to painful cervix , braxtons and having difficulty walking due to tenderness in vagina and hips feeling like thier going to pop open.

The pressure and pain has subsided as i have been resting alot, however is this normal or do i need to be careful or perhaps look forward to an early birth!!

As far as I know, gynecologists usually suture the cervical opening if it opens up way too much. These things just happen in pregnancy.

If they told you just to rest, I guess that is all that it takes.
