3 months late on period, but a negative pregnancy result

In an odd way, seeing so many women going through similar things as me is comforting. It has been 3 months since my last cycle. I hadn't even realized it until a few weeks ago when I started noticing I was having weird 'ailments'. I had an episode where I absolutely could NOT live with having some red meat with ketchup (a odd craving), then I started noticing that Iwas having regular issued with this strange feeling of an 'overly empty stomach' even when I had just eaten, I also noted I was getting dizzy alot. There were a few others and it wasn't until I started looking each of these up and found them prevalent as pregnancy symptoms, that I sat down with a calendar and did some figuring for my last period and times of sex. I came up with a last period on or around Aug 23rd and my husband and I had sex Sept 6th. I realized these dates worked for pregnancy and since we don't use contraception ... My symptoms did not get worse and did not go away. I just broke down and took my first pregnancy test and it was negative. I have gained a few pounds but my cloths aren't fitting worse (actually a little better) and my stomach is 'bloated' and I noted that my lower abdomen has been getting more solid. I'm really confused and hope that if any of you get answers, you will let us here know.

I have taken a total of 5 hpt and all were negative. I have also had a blood test that was negative. The doctor is doing more blood work on Dec 8th. I have had all the symptoms of being pregnant, sore breasts, weight gain, enlarging tummy, nausea and sleeplessness at night but tired all day. I had an ovarian cyst removed in July of this year. I know that there have been cases where a women will not produce enough of the hcg hormone that the test look for even when they are 7months pregnant and were told on numerous occasions that they were not pregnant. Could I still be pregnant?

I am thirteen and havent had my period since july of 06 and i still havent had it im not spotting, or anything iv took about 5 pregnanct tests and all come back neg. Yeah i do have a boyfriend and im sexully active with him but i know im not prgnant, i dont have any pain and i dont know what it is can some one please give me advice

My last cycle was Sept. 29. I have taken 2 hpt that turned out to be negative. I saw my physician Monday and gave her a urine sample. That sample came up negative, so she took some blood samples. I am currently waiting on the results. I have only missed 1 mth. of a cycle, never 2.5 mths. I am now experiencing lower back pain, and tender nipples. During the week after Thanskgiving, I was experiencing severe cramping and wasn't able to eat anything. Now, I'm playing the waiting game.

I haven't had a cycle since my last one ended on sept. 29. One week after Thanksgiving I was having severe cramping and couldn't eat anything at all and had clear sticky discharge. I have since taken 2 hpt which were negative. I went to my physician on Monday and gave a urine sample. That sample came out negative, so she took some blood samples. I am now waiting on the results. Currently, I am experiencing low back pain and tender nipples. I am not stressing over this, if I am pregnant, great, if not, just more fun trying to conceive.

I am just over 3 months late and I have never ever been late. I have done a home pregnancy test and it came back negative also I went to the dr. and did the blood work that came back negative too. No cramps, pains or anything at all so what could it be?

Hi I have a similar problem. I just turned sixteen in November and I have missed my period for the last three months. I'm scared! I have had no symptoms(Sp?) of being pregnant. I have had lower abdominal cramps,but other than that I feel great. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative I need some advice. PLEASE HELP!

I can understand where you are coming from. Im 18, and I went 3 months without having a period, and took about 10 home pregnancy tests, which came out negative. I had no pregnancy symptoms, and me and my boyfriend allways used condoms, but it's easy to freak out. finally tired of stressing, I went and got a blood test, and it was negative. My doctor said that if you have any kind of cold shortly prior to your period, or the flu, or if you stress too much about atually BEING pregnant, it can delay your period. Hoped this helped a little Very Happy

I am a 24 year old lady who hasn't had a period since 13th November, and i'm now 2 months late.
I have done 6 home tests all negative, urine sample forthe doctor twice and going back tonight for a blood test.
I have always been regular since I was 13 and worked like clock work!
We have been trying for a baby and I have put on 6 pounds in 3 months and thats eating healthily too,
Do you think i'm pregnant?

I have been there in so many ways. My first pregnancy I was told I was not by urine test and when I was 4 months along and I had an accident my blood work is how I found out. I couldnt believe it since I kept having my period up through the 6 month. I had a very health baby girl. I had morning sickness with my second and all the signs that I was pregnant and it showed up on the first test. But then there was my third that we all knew I was pregnant and showing and yet all tests where coming back negative. I believe it was something in my family bloodline that caused that thing to happen. I know my aunt had the same probably and may even be having it now. We joke with her that she can get pregnant going to the bathroom after a man. She has had that ring IUD put in and her guy has been cut, yet they lost one baby and she is worried that she is pregnant again. She isnt cheating on him or anything which is why she is trying to figure out how this is happening to her. Guess its in the genes.
