3 year old with vomiting and diarrhea for past 4 days

My daughter is 3 and has been sick since last Friday. She has no fever and we are keeping her hydrated. She has periods where she feels fine for a while and then suddenly feels sick again. It began with diarrhea and only two episodes of vomiting. She has very little appetite and is complaining of stomach pain.

My 11 year old boy has had diarrhea and some vomiting since the Jan 15 Dr said he just had a minor stomach flu but now all that comes out is mucus. What do you think it is?
