I’ve been diagnosed benign prostatic hyperplasia. My therapy is 5-alpha reductase inhibitor ,it is an antiandrogen hormone. I am interested in its influence on my libido.
If I lose my sexual potential, would it be irreversible?

Adverse drug reactions are generally dose dependent. Common symptom is impotence and decreased libido. 5-alpha reductaze inhibitors reduce level of dihydrotestosterone.
Indication for 5-alpha reductaze inhibitor is benign prostatic hyperplasia, so first you should do your best to save your organ and than you’ll think about sex.
I think losing of libido is not irreversible.
