5 week long period!!

I am 22 years old and three months ago I got my period a week early and then had it for two weeks then the next month I got my period two weeks early and had it for three weeks and now this past month I got my period 2 1/2 weeks early and I've been on it for 5 weeks! I dont know whats going on. I'm on the pill and I have been taking it everyday so I dont understand why I'm STILL on my period. Please help!

You need to talk to your doctor. Breakthrough bleeding is common, but 5 weeks is too long so you probably need to change to a different type of pill

Technically you only have a period for a week, but any other bleeding is just "breakthorugh bleeding" and not an actual period..

You may need a higher doseage of hormones.
