Hello. I think I might be pregnant- and if so I would be about 5 1/2 weeks... I think I might have missed my period because it was very weak and short this month. I bought the First Response hpt that is supposed to tell if you are pregnant several days BEFORE your missed period, and it came out very negative... If I was 5 weeks- shouldn't the test of definately detected these hormones? I'm just nervous and don't know what is up with my body because my periods have never been short light that. Any advice?

Yes, it actually should register 'pregnant' now if you actually were pregnant.

IF you are worried, a blood preg test would be totally accurate.
