Hi. I have been hoping to conceive a second baby, after needing Clomid to conceive the first one (I had not had a any menstrual cycles for 3 years proir to having my first baby). I stopped breast feeding my baby at 9 months and had my first natural menstrual cycle 3 months later. Sice then I have had cycles of 37 and 47 days. We assumed we would need to resume drug treatment to conceive again, but to my absolute surprise and delight, I am now 5 weeks pregnant!
What concerns me, is the fact that my cycles were so long. Does this mean I am at greater risk of miscarriage? I have read that long cycles can lead to poor quality eggs, so I am having a nervous time waiting and hoping. Any information would be appreciated!
