Hi. I have a daughter that is 11 years old and she wants to run a 5 kilometers marathon. She is not really that strong, and I am worried that 5 kilometers is too much for her. What do you think I should do? I know I sound incompetent, but I am a single dad and I am just sometimes too caring.
Don't worry. She is young and full of energy, so she is not going to have any problems running the whole 5 kilometers. But if you want to, why don't you go with her on the marathon. That way, you will be able to supervise her, and have that father – daughter moment. Maybe you should worry about you not finishing the marathon, because she surely can.
