I am 6 six weeks pregnant and went for my 1st sonogram - and they said they could not see a yolk sak - should i be concerened?

It would be best to check it out cause the same thing happened to me, but at the same time they found that i had ovarian cysts so when they operated on me and took the cysts they found an ectopic pregnancy and had to remove it.

With my first child, my doctor could not confirm, ie find the sack, until I was almost 10 weeks. He did several ultrasounds, but still would not confirm it. Eventually we had a healthy girl with no more issues. Although I know it is hard not to be concerned, just continue to communicate with your doctor and maintain a healty lifestyle until you get a firm answer. Best wishes!

at 4 weeks 5 days we saw only an empty gestational sac.. I was very concerend .. then today at 5 weeks 5 days we saw a beautiful yolk sac and a fetal pole....

there was a nother lady's post. She was at 9 weeks and found no sac and she is going for a D&C the next day. I am surprised that the doctor says so.. I think she should wait, as so should you !!
