6 year old complaining of discharge from her vagina

She had light brown discharge then just clear from her vagina. She's only 6 years old although she looks like she's 9.... is it a hormone problem? Why would this be happening? I'm making a doctor appointment for her I'm worried.

i hear that nine year old get their periods but i never heard about a 6 yo get it if thats the case... you did good by making an oppointment.
