I’m sexually active but my partner and I are pretty careful. It has been seven weeks (49 days) and I still haven’t gotten my period. My last period was September 13th although I am rarely “regular”. The time between my periods has ranged from 47 days to 20 days in 2005, with 32 days being average. I haven’t been on birth control.
I took a pregnancy test (Answer Early Result) yesterday and it was negative. I don’t have any of the symptoms of pregnancy—no nausea, soreness, headache, fatigue, etc—just the missed period. I have an appointment with my OB/GYN in a week. Could it be possible I’m pregnant, even if the test is negative? I followed the directions exactly.
As for my lifestyle, I’m often stressed, I don’t exercise, and I’m about 10lbs underweight. Regardless, this is the longest I’ve been without a period… and nothing about my lifestyle has changed. Does anyone have a similar story or personal advice? I’m getting really worried.
