Hi, my friend is 46 years old and he is suffering from ALS for few years. He is walking very hard and also he is moving his arms with great difficulties. I know this is very severe disorder but I would like to know something more about its prognosis. Thank you.

Hi, unfortunately I don’t have some good news to tell you. My relative is also suffering from same disease and his doctor told that only small number of people with such disorder live more than 10 years. This severe disorder affects upper and lower motor neuron and they die of the respiratory failure.
