| Hello, folks. I have been on Digoxin since I am diagnosed congestive heart failure. However, I am suggested to take Amiodarone since I developed once ventricular tachyarrhythmias. I would like to know whether anyone has been put on both these medications. I would really appreciate all your replies. Thanks in advance. |

| Hello, there. Amiodarone is very powerful drug. It has many benefits in treatment of atrial and ventricle tachyarrhythmias. Combination with digoxin is possible in heart failure. However, you should be careful. Amiodarone increases the blood levels of digoxin. Digoxin can show some side effects. Some of them are: allergic reactions, severe headache, irregular heartbeats, slow or abnormally fast heartbeats, vision problems, etc. You should talk to your cardiologist about this. Bye! |
