Well i had unprotected sex but my bf pulled out as he felt he would ejaculate, but he didnt in the end. after that i missed my period, actually i had a few drops of blood for my period. after that i took a home preg test twice and it showed -ve both the times. I started on pills and havent had my period yet when i was supposed to have it like a few days ago but my lower abdomen hurts (like menstural cramps )and i end up shitting.. i dont know whats wrong. please help.

THE PIll can cause some womens periods to be very light, even spotty.

ALSO it IS NORMAL to get your period ANYTIME during the placebo week, so it could be a few placebos before your period starts....

actually I had the spotty period before i started on pills.. and to tell u the truth i am under a lot of stress lately with the issue of missing my first period. i was always irregular getting my periods but had never missed it or was never spotty. and now that i am on pills i am just having these cramps and other periods symptoms which i am scared are pregnancy symptoms. am i possibly pregnant..but i did take the preg test after my spotty period and it came out negative both the times

If you have started on pills then you should expect changes to your normal cycle, including missed or very light periods. Since your boyfriend didn't ejaculate, it is unlikely that you are pregnant.

If you have the runs then I would suggest that the cramps are a result of a tummy bug.

If you are still concerned, take another pregnancy test. I think it is quite unlikely that you are pregnant, but it will help to ease your mind

I have been on the pill for almost 4 years now. I was on one that gave me regular periods but I didn't like the way it made me feel, so my doctor switched me to a new pill, Loestrin 24Fe. I've been on that one for almost 2 years, and I haven't had a period since switching. I asked my doctor at my annual visit last year, and she said it was perfectly normal to miss periods altogether on the pill, since it's a withdrawl bleeding.

I would go to your pill's website and look for reviews to see if other women are having the same problem as you before you get too worked up. Smile
