| Hello! Yesterday I don CAT scan and it showed a tumor on the left kidney. Doctor told me that this tumor is not big and that we need to do biopsy, just to be sure if it is cancer or not. Please tell me what the difference between cancer and benign tumor actually is. I thought that all tumors are same. |

| Hello! Well, as you can see now, all tumors are not same. I really hope that biopsy will show that you have benign tumor. Cancer can be cured sometimes if it is discovered in early phase. But, even then there is no guarantee for that. On the other hand, benign tumor is not endangering health much and it just need to be removed. On the other hand, kidney tumor is not simply, so, you must to do exactly what your doctor tells you. |
