Hello. I’m 17 years old and I attend 7th grade of elementary school.
I have one question and any help would be more than welcome.
I have noticed that my close friend is acting a bit strange. I saw him couple of times behind school smoking marihuana.
First I thought that he was probably passing trough some critical period and that he will stop and go back to normal activities. But he didn’t. Instead of that, from marihuana he passed on methadone and methadone like drugs such as Oxycotine and Roxycotine.
I don’t know should I say anything to his parents? I‘m very worried about him and I would like to help him. What should I do?

I think I can help you because I also had a friend who was addicted to drug. Listen what I did. I went to his parents and told them everything because you must understand that you can do nothing by your self. Family support I crucial!
Then I spooked with him. I explained him that drugs like Roxycotin are synthetic morphine and that such a strong drug can make irreversible changes in his central nervous system. Roxycotin is only used as a painkiller for some painful diseases like fibromyalgia.
I made him believe me and, together with his parents, we subscribed him to a methadone clinic for oxy addiction. That all happened five years ago. He’s now having a normal life again. All that I suggest you to do. You must convince him to be really committed and determined to get off the drug-and your goal will be fulfilled.
Good luck!
