A large lump came out with my period, have i misscarried?

Hi, I have recently been on the pill but am not too good at remembering to take it.

The other day I had my period but it really hurt like stabbing pains in my womb. A large lump of skin colored material came out, big enough to cause me worry.

I was just wondering if someone could tell me if this was a miscarriage?

I am really worried.

What you're describing sounds a lot like a miscarriage, yes. I suggest you get yourself to an OB/GYN immediately to make sure that everything's okay. Most women are fine after a miscarriage, but it's important to see a doctor in the case that this happens.
