A lot of red blood in stool, only once, pain in upper right

Had a lot of red blood in toilet and on paper, little if no stool with it. Have had pain in mid/upper right side of stomach for a year but never have had any blood. Stomach pain seems to be getting more steady. Not tremendious pain, dull but always there. Was just thinking it was a spasm muscle all this time until the blood. What could it be?

This same thing has happened to me.....it only happened once to me too. Well, I researched it and it could be cancer...but HIGHLY doubtful because you are younger. It could be a sign of an ulcer, a bad one at that...I would go to your doctor have your stomach checked out. My bloody stool was because of my ulcer. I hope this helped a little!! Best of luck!!
