I am a 26 year old who is has been taking oral contraceptives for about 6 years. I experience Abdominal Pain at the middle of my cycle usually monthly. When I was 19 I had ovarian cysts, (beginning of birth control pills). However this pain is not as frequent or as severe as the pain I experienced with my cysts. I've read up on Painful Ovulation, and this is what it sounds like, but because of the birth control pills, I shouldn't be ovulating. What could the cause of this pain be? I've seen doctors, and had ultrasounds, but nothing has been diagnosed.
Im wondering if your having the same pain i am having.. I have been on Birthcontrol since I was 18, im 23 now and just recently I have been having pains throughout the month in my pelvic area, ( upper left side) and sometimes lower right side .. I have had ultrasounds done and went to 3 different doctors. I think it could be endometrisis but my obgyn thinks not.. he said its hormons cause from switching birth control and to wait and see.. so i just wanted to you know if you have been having pain cause from birth control as well. I think im going to get off it next month and see. let me knwo about your pain please...
