I use to have abdominal pain after sex. It is more like spasm and is located in central area, so is not related to ovaries. Sometimes it is sharper and it stops when I take pain medication. What could be the reason for this pain?
I had exactly the same kind of pain. It was like muscle spasms and made me finding sex very uncomfortable and difficult. I had several exams and finally my diagnosis was pelvic floor myalgia. It is disorder characterized by involuntary muscle spasms that result in uncomfortable and painful intercourse. There is great number of possible reasons for such a pain so you better try to get proper diagnosis.
