Hello,

My girlfriend took a plan B after realising after unprotected sex. Now she suffers from serious abdominal pain. Is she pregnant ? What could be wrong with her ?

cramping is common after taking the emergency pill, it is a high dose of hormones and will affect her cycle quite a bit.

How long ago was this?

hey. i took plan b & it gave me cramps and other pregnancy/period like symptoms for about 2-3 weeks on & off. i was really worried too, but as one of the previous posts said, it really does affect your cycle quite a bit. my guess would be that if she's experiencing these symptoms only a week later, its probably more likely an affect of plan b. if you really want to be sure though & dont want to wait, she should take a test to be sure

So my gf finally took the test and it came out negative. It's been quite a bit of a scare. I've learnt how invaluable condoms are from this experience. Thanks to all who replied. This is a good forum. Thanks to all who make it possible.
