Hello, I have strong headaches and they occur often in the afternoon hours, affect the left side of the head and are followed with nausea (sometimes I vomit too). I have to take some pain reliever in those moments. I use hydrocodone but I have heard that Aceta is also very good. Which one should I use?
These two meds even though they act as analgesics, their mechanism of functioning is different. Aceta is acetaminophen, which is a very strong analgesic and it can deal with very strong pain. On the other hand, it might lead to liver damage. Hydrocodone relieves from mild to moderate pain and belongs to NSAID group of medicaments.
