Acetaminophen overdose treatment

My father has been using the Acetaminophen for the treatment of his back pains. But it seems that he has taken it more then he should have. He has taken to the hospital for the immediate Acetaminophen overdose treatment. He had no symptoms when he has left but he knew that he has overdose because he has read the label wrongly. How Acetaminophen overdose treatment looks like?

It there are no symptoms doctors will start with emptying his stomach immediately (by putting tube down trough his throat into the stomach or by inducing vomiting). Then they will give him N-acetylcysteine (NAC) because it is an antidote for toxic Acetaminophen poisoning. It is usually given by mouth. It tastes ugly so it is usually given with some juice.
