Adverse reactions to alcohol with desogen

Desogen was my first birth control pill and I have been taking it for 7 months. Prior to taking it, I had never experienced vomiting with alcohol or hangovers that were any more severe than a headache (believe it or not). I have always had a high tolerance. The first week that I started desogen, I began getting sick the morning after drinking regardless of the amount. It's been the same for the entire 7 months. I am not on any other prescriptions and I've always spread out the time between taking bcp and drinking. I am about to switch to Aviane next week, but I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with any birth control.
