I just had my baby and its four days later and it burns when I urinate. Are there any over the counter meds I can buy to help this because the witch hazel pads they gave me when I got discharged from the hospital are not working and sometimes it feels like it burns more. Also, if there are no over the counter meds, could you explain the proper use of the hazel pads? Like am I supposed to use them before or after I start to pee?
you're probably burning (excuse the typing im nursing at the keyboard) because of grazes or cuts that haven't healed yet. What I did was either pee in the tub while runnung the shower head gently with lukewarm water over me, or use a bottle of water to pour over myself while peed. It reeeaaally helped for the burning while urinating.
