Hello. I am woman 21 years old and I have a sister that is pregnant but drinks from time to time. She does it even dough I tell her not to do it. She won't listen to me. I am interested in knowing if consumption of alcohol can affect the baby's future in some way. I am grateful for the info. Thanks.

Well, you might want to inform her that if she keeps up that way, she is risking having a retarded baby...Baby might have learning problems, undersized head, growth deficiency, etc. Let her think. What does she need more? Her baby's life or booze. Research point that no alcohol is good when you are pregnant, but used at small amounts alcohol probably doesn't have an impact.
