I was diagnosed with JRA a few years ago and I've been on Methotrexate for a while. I don't ever drink but I'm concerned with the drinking-alcohol-while-on-methotrexate threat. I'm young and I'd rather not have my liver damaged.

How true is the threat though? I don't plan on drinking excessively or getting completely drunk, but I'd like to have a drink or two every now and then. How much would be too much in my case? Advice would be appreciated!!

Hi, you don't want to. I turned legal yesterday, so I am a patient at the Childrens hospital. Because of this I don't think they felt the need to tell me about drinking while on this medication. I had two beers, just two beers. Now I am living with my head in the toilet seat. Beleive me, you don't want to Wink
