Hi, I am 36 years old and I like to have occasional drink. However I have to admit that I like to drink from time to time but I am not drunkard. I have heard about many bad things which alcohol may cause but I would like to know something more about its effects on metabolism. Thanx.

Hi, alcohol had its good effects if you are taking it in reasonable doses. It is improving your circulation and it is also good for appetite. Alcohol is also antiseptic and it has positive effects on blood vessels. Alcohol is speeding up your metabolism make your heart pump faster. Bad effects of alcohol are that it may cause cirrhosis and polyneuropathy.
