| I am 19 years old, and I am diabetic. No need to call me an idiot for drinking because everyone I know beat you to it. I have been drinking ALMOST every night (with sometime a half-a-week space) for about eight months, and I am worried about the withdrawals killing me or making me mentally weaker. Today is my first night going without a drink since last sunday and monday night. I feel the dizziness, shakes, Anxiety. I was drinking inbetween 5 to 12 beers a night, with the most I really drank was 15 a couple of nights of my addiction. I never, ever drink during the day. On Monday the fourth and Tuesday the fifth, I am accepting a detox I.V. on both of those days. So, the question is will I be okay going cold turkey after eight months of drinking? |
