Hi, I believe that I have been using Aldara cream, long enough since my actinic keratoses is gone. Do I really need to continue treatment as long as my doctor suggested?

Hi, my mother is using for treatment of actinic keratosis Aldara Cream. She applies it usually once a day for 2 days a week, 3 to 4 days apart, for example on monday and thursday. Aldara Cream should be left on the skin for about 8 hours. So, it is suggested to apply it in the evening. I assume that you need to check with your doctor if you want to stop the treatment. Or maybe you can stop and if you notice any changes or reoccurrence of the disease repeat the treatment. if you know you are susceptible to developing skin disorders, it is advised to pay more attention and treat skin with some mild cream.
