Aleve long-term implications

I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis for two years. Symptoms are numerous and what bothers me the most are pain and swelling of the joints. Because of all this, I have changed many medications and therapies. The drug that helped me the most and I still use it is Aleve. I would like to hear something about Aleve long-term implications?

Aleve is non steroidal anti inflammatory medication. That is a large group of medications that are used to deal with many forms of arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis. There is a possibility of damaging the walls of stomach because of the inhibition f prostaglandins that act protective for the epitel of the stomach and prevent the ulcer.
