Alfalfa sprouts to treat digestive problems?

I have digestive problems. It’s not so serious but it’s pretty annoying. My friend told me that Alfalfa sprouts can be very effective for these problems. I want to ask is it clever to use Alfalfa sprouts to treat digestive problems? Can somebody tell me something more about Alfalfa sprouts? Thanks!
