Allergies to Spermicide

This past monday I thought I forgot to take my birth control pill so when my fiance and I had sex we used spermicide. I actually had taken my pill after all but on wednesday I noticed some brown discharge. Now it's friday and I still have brown discharge..only when I wipe. I'm thinking its just a reaction to the spermicide but I took a pregnancy test last sunday (which was negative) because we had sex three weeks ago before my pills were completely effect (a day before to be exact and we used spermicide then too)....so I am wondering if my body is having a reaction to the spermicide or if I'm possibly pregnant. Should I take another birth control test???

How long have you been on the pills? Sometimes there is a bit of breakthrough bleeding if you are new to using them or if you miss a pill or two. If it was a reaction to the spemicide then there would usually be swelling or itchiness, not blood

I have a brownish discharge as well and I'm not even on the pill. My partner and I used a condom and a spermicide sponge.
