Am I Having the Symtoms of Pregnancy?

I'm just a teenager but I have found the love of my life- my boyfriend is perfect for me, he treats me like a woman should be treated and he does everything for me- he adores me. And I adore him. We have been dating 4 months but knew eachother for a year beforehand.

Naturally, with such mental, spiritual and emotional connections come the inevitable.. physical, connections and attractions.

My boyfriend and I have had sexual intercourse (I lost my virginity to him) 2 times in the past 2-3 weeks I believe, the last time being Sunday. We did not use a condom. And in fact I was so small for him the first time that he could just barely fit his head into me.
I have been on birth control pills for two months and he did not come inside me, it didn't go on for very long so I'm not even sure of any amount of pre-ejaculate even, as I have heard that can contain semen as well.

Just yesterday, Tuesday, my best friend commented on my stomach saying it looked like I had "gained some weight." Undoubtedly, this scared the shit out of me. I asked my mother if it looked like I had gained weight and she said yes, maybe, but that I'm just starting to "fill out" (I've been conveniently thin all my life- 5'6 106 lbs). I've asked other people though, and they say they don't notice anything.

The more I look at my stomach from the side the more I think I see a difference- a slight bulge, or swelling, like pregnancy. When I stand up and look straight down I can see my hips and the outer sides of my pelvis but my "Swollen" stomach goes out over my pelvis so I can not see, for example, a strawberry printed in the very center of my underwear. I read that your stomach grows a cm every week during pregnancy.

Every hour of every day I obsess over the possibility of being pregnant. No one has any idea, any expectance, or any acceptance of even fathoming me doing the dirty deed. It would ruin my life. It is stressing me out to no end and I simply can't concentrate. I want to tell someone but I know I can't.

I realize other explanations for my swollen stomach could be:
-Weight Gain- either from puberty or my BC pills
-Many other slightly less, but still in the same, frightening medical abnormalities.

The only thing that would further establish my paranoia is if I miss this upcoming period. Even with the BC pills I get my cycle regularly during the first week or second week of the month- around the 10th day, mainly. And then- an at-home pregnancy test.

However, if neither of those occur, I am still horrified by anecdotes from this sites stating that even after a negative ept and a blood test the origin of the girl's stomach girth was, indeed, pregnancy.

I realize my options are either not to be pregnant, get an abortion via surgery, or via medicinally, the details on the latter of which I know not.

Hopefully after reading this lengthy pouring of my heart you have gleaned that I am not your average sleep-around teenager, and very much do not deserve to be pregnant. Excepting my hormones causing me to ( very regrettably) let my inhibitions to the wind- the only thing I am guilty of is loving.

In the end I am only asking for your thoughts, opinions and support. What is your point of view? I would very much like some stranger's words to quell my persistent worries.

to worry wort i am my self 16 and have my 2 beautiful children . Dont be worried about telling people! choose a close friend to talk to or maybe an elder brother or sister. With my first pregnancy i was only 14 and didnt tell anyone about it i was too scared and decided that if i hid it, it would go away but it doesnt! i finally trusted my best friend to confide in and it took alot of pressure off my shoulders !!
Generally whilst on the pill chances of pregnancy are slim so try not to worry

I had a miscarriage on January 15/08 and had a D & C on February 7th. 4 days later I got an infection. I was put on antibiotics for a week and on february 26th my boyfriend and I had sex. I didn't get my period at the end of the month. My boobs are sore and feel full, I have felt a little queazy at times, March 1oth I got some light pink discharge come out and the next night I had more blood but it was red. The next morning I got more blood and then in the afternoon it stopped. Today I have a little blood but mostly only when I go to wipe. I have had a little cramping but that's it. I did take a pregnancy test on February 29th and it was a faint positive. I got a blood test done last week and it was positive but at 14. I am waiting for the results of another blood test to come back to see if the hormonr levels are going up. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with me?

I hope everyone is finding what they are looking for in these postings. I am in the same boat and am dying with anticipation. I too feel like maybe I am tricking my body into thinking it is pregnant. I still have a couple of days to go before my period is due so even with a negative result so close to my expected period, I'm not going to rule it out just yet.

I already have one child. I planned him but after I conceived I ran into some emotional problems with the dad and ended up in a 2 month long fight with drugs (the dad) and other things. It completely slipped my mind that we had tried for a child. It wasn't until I got what I thought was a UTI and nausea. I was taking medicine and not getting relief. It dawned on my like those light bulbs that pop up in the cartoons "OMG I think I'm pregnant". I had been so stressed and pre-occupied I had totally forgotten and didn't even notice if I missed a period or not.

Anyway, we conceived in June and I took my test in August. It was positive.

This time around, I wasn't planning, but did have unprotected sex during my ovulation. I'm not too stressed about much lately and feel all the typical symptoms of early pregnancy. I even feel like I have a UTI as I did with my first. The test I took this morning (3 days before my expected period) was negative, but I see that a lot of people (more than a few) don't get positive results until later in their pregnancy. Could I be one of them? I woudn't be able to compare to my first pregnancy since it wasn't until i was 6-8 weeks along that I tested the first time.

I am not expecting a real answer because I know I should wait until I miss my period. And then if I have any questions, I should ask my doctor. I'm just looking for other people's opinions. And since I keep reading all of the forums everywhere and see that everyone and their mothers feel the same way I do but never see any follow ups, should I assume that everyone of these people found out that the WEREN'T pregnant? If anyone out there felt the same way as all of these others and it turned out you WERE pregnant even after the negative results (or vice versa), please reply. I'm very interested in what you found out in your experience.

I figured I'd follow up on my own posting so I don't leave anyone hanging like I find to be the case all over this forum. Anyway, I got my period a day late. It is a relief to know that even with all the symptoms and signs of pregnancy and the fact that I had unprotected intercourse durning my week of ovulation, that I didn't get pregnant.

The signs and symptoms must have been all just wishfull thinking. On that note, I feel like it is time for me to start trying.

Anyway, next time around I will just have to be a little more patient. I probably was having a bad bad case of PMS. Smile

hi i had my last AF on 14th april and ever since the 29th April i have had sore bb's, my period isn't due until around the 12th May, just wondering if this is just a sign i ovulated or a early pregnancy sign, and my last two periods have been lasting only one day and is only brown. i appreciate any replys as i don't want to get my hopes up if it's just ovulation. me and my partner have been trying for 7 months now and i've never had the sore boobs 2 wks before my period i usually get them around two day before af is due
