| I have been on the contraceptive pill for over 2 years now, I recently ran two pill packs together to defer my period by two weeks and then started a new pack three days ahead of the end of 7 day free period. My boyf and I had otherwise unprotected sex in which he ejaculated. Since then I have had a period during the next 7 day free period, but I have also been experiencing symptons of pregnancy including spotting, cervical mucus, tiredness and frequent urination. Am I being ridiculous or could I be pregnant>> |

| you don't seem to have been unprotected by a pill at any stage, you are covered through thr 7 pill free days by the pill., after this it's strength would start to deplete and another contraceptive form is recommended for 7 days after any missed pill, running 2 packs together in itself would not have made a difference and starting the new pack 3 days early should not either as you would still be covered, so i think it's more likely that the pill is having an adverse reaction with you. I was on microgynon 30 for 3 years when i notice d a small but very painful lump in my breast, i went to the gp and he swapped my pill to cileste and the lump went away immediately, however i had all sorts of other side effects and went back to microgynon, i think our bodies work in mysterious ways! |
