| my psychiatrist believes from past and present evidence that i'm cyclothymic. when i'm nornal i sleep about 5 hours a day, i am productive and easy going and most people like me. When i'm up i sleep about 2 hours a day if i'm lucky, i'm overly productive and i'm irritable and I hang around with only those who can tolerate me. But when i feel low i do not get hypersomnia but i do sleep more about 8 to 10 hours, i'm indolent and I cry alot and wish to be left alone. my mother was a manic depressive but i know that i'm not. where can I find a support group? |

To find a support group, you can look up psychologists in your area and ask if they know of any support groups. Chances are, many of them would.
You can also look in your phone book in the first few pages for mental assistance numbers and references. There may also be a hotline to call and inquire about support groups.
There are many different kinds in existence. You could take one for depression, mood disorders, sleep disorders, anxiety, or anything else that's available and that you feel suits your needs. |
