Hi, my mother has problems with arrhythmias for long period of time and her doctor prescribed her Amiodaron. My mother is always tensed when she changes her therapy so I would like to know something more about this medication. Also I would like to know if this medication has side effects.

Hi, my friend is also taking amiodarone and it helped him very much. She didn't know what to do because of constant arrhytmias she was experiencing. When her doctor prescribed her Amiodarone she felt much better. Curiosity for this medication lies in the fact that it wasn't approved for a long time in America because of its side effects. It may cause appearing of deposits in your cornea and also may cause interstitial lung disease.
