Does anyone know where gay feelings derive from ?
I don't think it is possible to be born that way. It has to be the way someone grows up. Could it be from a father not wanting to have a relationship with his son ? Could it come from children who survive a divorce ? Could it come from parents who don't teach their children about sex ? Could it come from parents who lack skills to teach their kids how to build relationships with others ? ...

Homosexuals ARE born gay. I was. To be very honest, I never "chose" to be gay. Why would I ask for a life of being reviled, not trusted, shunned by my Christian faith, and attacked for publicly displaying affection for the man I love?
It just happened. I had a normal childhood with a loving father and parents who not only taught me about sex, but also remain married to this day. It was a confusing time in my life when I had expected - and later tried very hard - to feel sexually attracted to girls. But no matter how hard I tried, nothing worked. I used alcohol, even attempted suicide because of this. But when I came to terms with the fact that it could not change, I was quite a bit happier. And so was my family.
(this is why many homosexuals get frustrated with people who accuse us of making this "choice" . . . if we could, we might choose differently) |
