Anoying things people say to ADDers!!

I just wanted to hear some thoughts on the opinion about ADDers. Some think that treatment of ADD is unnecessary and it's obvious to me that they suspect that someone with ADD is just immature. The things they say about ADDers are annoying. Do you find that ADD has attached itself to your identity too?

I think that we have all learned to compensate for our disability in some ways. For example just like someone who is blind is likely to be more attuned to their other senses to guide them. I agree that things that that people said about ADDers that they are just immature are annoying. ADD doesn't mean immature, I can be the most mature, level-headed being on the planet at times and if I had the choice to give up the ADD and my other disorders, I wouldn't.
